Those that don't know any better think he is doing an amazing job. Those that do know see this as a Hack job!

Maybe make a shock tower brace from the top of each shock tower across the top of the engine for a little more support

Get a strut brace across the top of the shock towers. That way you know that they are the right distance apart.

If you use the 2015 firewall the HVAC and dash mounts, petals and steering column would also bolt in.

Why not try and use the entire apron assembly from the 2015 so all the factory fuse block recovery bottle and ABS components already have mounting locations.

That's probably true... They look like brothers. Hey Ben, be sure to check the correct angle of the shock towers before completing the final weld on them.

Ben, you, Billy and his brother and dad need to have a big family dinner and "invite" a couple of million subscribers. We'd like to meet all of them- even the shy ones! Your story is all about how America grew up to today, and now you are very much part of what we and you will be tomorrow.
Oh, the "Stang is going great guns! Kudos for figuring your way out of the "tube block" on your first try- saw it , took it out and got to the solution- awesome!KOKO

Just my opinion v tuned has crazy skills but I think he may be over his head on this one, fenders inner and outer, radiator and core support, firewall, brake booster heat/AC setup he has mucho fabrication to still engineer.

Not sure if its possible to do while maintaining structural integrity, but if you can, you might want to modify the top hats so you can access the camber adjustment in the camber plate by simply opening the hood instead of dropping the entire strut assembly everytime.

What kind of tubing do you use?
Material, dimensions, seamless or not?
Also I don’t remeber you mentioning what hole saws do you use?
I admire your enthusiasm and can’t wait to see your videos everytime you upload!

So by using bags and not spring shocks the shocks are at full extension, not ride height while measuring tower height? won't the geometry be off once the care is under load and at ride height? shouldn't the center of the hub at ride height while the shock is at ride compression to put the shock towers in the correct position? I don't know as I'm not an engineer but I've seen other builders do it. Check out Project Binky's build by Bad obsession motorsports on youtube.

I'm no expert but I'd be amazed if that setup is going to be strong enough. Maybe i'm underestimating the power of welds.....but that outer large piece of tube coming down into the front part of the frame just welded at the notch just won't hold under any up and down stress from the wheel/bumps. I like the drilled holes into the frame for the tubing though.....but overall this setup makes me kinda nervous.

There is an app for the android phones called "bubble level". I suggest that you down load it to get precise angles for your top hats and piping. Works great and it's free.

The strut hats on the red car were quite a bit more angled than you seem to have. I assume this was part of the design strategy from Ford. Do you think yours being more square will be a concern?

Hey vTuned huge fan of the channel and Goonzquad’s as well. You’ve built some pretty badass cars/trucks. If you ever get free time for a new project, could you try and build a awesome prerunner/trophy truck? I know you got to tools and skills to do it! Keep it up man!

I still dont see any protection in between the engine and firewall .
I would recommend to put a beam in between so your engine doesn't come into the car in case of a crash.. great show

What about setting it up like that and no compression or preload on the springs. If the strut towers are not set to the correct height and you put a load on it, it wont sit right or will sit to low.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you just use the chassis, subframe, etc off the red one instead of fabricating a new one?

Glad you have a Stang to get measurements from. Having the camber and caster of the MacPherson strut correct will minimise and issues with steering and handling done the line 👍

Get yourself a flexible tape measure like a seamstress or tailor would use to measure around curves. If you use a standard tape measure it will through off your length measurement as it kinks and bends.

Make sure the airbags are set half way for set up. Gives left over height to fully extend when driving over speed bumps. Lower half for dropping while parked.

I think i would've made a strut tower brace out of scrap before cutting them off the red car...Could've got a centerline and checked all the caster angles beforehand...Would've put you in the ballpark on the new chassis
