One thing I'll say is don't stand in front of the car when starting/cranking/revving, you never know when it might slip into gear and run you over.

Hey I'd like to offer some advice when you remove parts and chrome pieces that you'll need later. Be more careful with them.
I've watched several of your episodes and you need to handle every chrome piece and body part as if it's not replaceable.
Take a tip from me, I've built street rods using 32 ford roadsters, 35 chevy bodies, and 55/56 chevy bodies... Treat your parts as
if they are gold. It's often better to reuse, then trying to find replacement parts. Use extreme caution when tearing it down... You'll be
glad you took the time to handle each part with care. You're channel is going to be large bro with millions of subscribers.
Find the niche that gives you the most views on your views, likes and subscribers and then run with it! All the best to you as you build your channel.

I would keep it original or it won't be as worth that much I won't touch coyote mustang like that or it is not a 66 and MCA plays big role in this .Keep the coyote in the new mustangs and leave old ones for us.

@vTuned Garage: great project! Anxious to see what you do with it.
Consider some rolling shelving units from Uline or McMaster-Carr to better organize your workspace. Keep track of bits that you will not use as other Mustang restorers could buy them and help offset your costs.

FYI if you mark the position of the rotor and don't spin the motor with the distributor OUT BECAUSE THE DISTRIBUTOR DRIVES THE OIL PUMP. SO YOU'RE SPINNING DRY MAINS.

Water inside the engine isn't a big worry the white powder in befire extinguishers pits cylinder walls

Speaks for the engineers that the engine can still be brought back to life after that experience. Hope it'll find a good home and have many more years!

Yes Mr tuned, think the most important thing that has been and will keep on making a huge difference to your channel is how you've just chilled out and let your know how and hard work speak for itself and because you are just talking about what you know, and not trying to be like dude and dang son etc. Then your more chilled and not as wooden on camera. I bet having the goonsquad lads down making videos for their trucks has help you find your vibe between their excitement and have a go hard work and chilled on camera. To how you just seemed like you didn't know what you were doing with the cars or how to be on camera. Anyway sorry for the long reply, Respect for choosing a classic and not another 2020 insert sports car. Also get a few colabs with dude and dangson from the goonz but on your channel. 🇬🇧

update the distributor resetting the points every weekend gets old. boy you did a good job of choosing that garage queen as she did not spend a lot of time outside i have owned several from 1964 1/2 through 1969 and it is very hard to find one in that good shape bet it is low miles too. guy what you have is worth more than you can imagin for a close to stock but secretly upgraded detail rebuild take it down to bare metal and work out . you had to touch my 64 1/2 to tell it was running at idle .

Great work. Takes some serious guts to undertake such a unique build. None of this "Let me grab my wallet and head to the dealer...okay, ready for paint...UPS guy is here...slap some Army Trix on there and it's done" (I mean, that's fun too, but this will certainly be different). This is going to be some old-school hard-core stuff. Love it!

@Smooth Jiminal Oh, no disrespect. Total respect for those guys. Totally addicted to Goonzquad and Vtuned (I think they are long lost bro's). Awesome! This is going to be an epic build for sure! I will be amazed what you can do with this build. Cannot wait for the coming/future upgrades/updates. A 5.0 Mustang engine sounds like a good choice. Do it boys!
yoboi01 - 8 måneder siden
No no no no, listen, your a pro !! Make it a fast back !!!! You will double your money, and if the engine is original then keep it in the car, you will get roughly the same amount of money regardless if you make it a fast back !! Do a lil research on it, right now there is 1 or 2 guys that are doing it as we speak, and a guy who made a 4 door 57 Chevy into a 2 door. Would love to see your skillz on making it a badass fast back

vTuned you are a really good frame and body worker but disassemble the car you do the job like a caveman. Did you realized many of those parts are old and may be original and you don't want to brake it? They are hard to find, expensive and you don't want to go with OER if you have the OEM.
